Sail Fast!!
-------
Team,
The Rice Sailing jackets are in! If you are coming to Austin you can
pick them up Saturday morning, or if you would like them sooner you
can email me back (gtate@rice.edu). If you asked for a specific size
we have it, and if not we ordered some extras as well. They are $25
each. If you haven't paid your $15 dues yet, though, you owe us $40
when you pick up your jacket.

Hey folks,
If you are going to the Tulane regatta on Feb 21st and would like to
purchase one of the T-shirts for $15-20, please
email me back by Thursday night with the size you would want.
Remember, let me know ASAP if you are going to Austin this weekend.
Thanks,
Garrett

Sailors! Two things:
1. We are going to Austin this weekend for this semester's first
regatta! We'll leave on Saturday at 5:30 AM and there will be options
to get back either Saturday night or Sunday afternoon. If you are
going you need to email me back by Wednesday night so that we can plan
for the trip. Also, let me know if you want to volunteer to bring
peanut butter and jelly.
2. If you intend to compete this semester, you need to be registered
with the ICSA. Go to
http://www.collegesailing.org/directory/individual/ and either click
"register now" if you are new or look up your old registration. Make
sure that you declare your eligibility for the spring 09 semester
(some registrations have automatically been updated, but you should
check on Rice's page to make sure).
Thanks!

We have practice this Saturday! It's our last before a bunch of
regattas, so come out to hone your skills, learn, or have fun. Meet in
front of Baker at 9:30.
Remember also that next weekend is the regatta at UT Austin. We'll
leave early in the morning on Saturday, with some people staying until
Sunday and some likely coming back Saturday night. Please start to let
me know if you plan to come.
Remember too to fill out Jim's survey with times you could come hear
speakers.
Thanks!

Sailors,
Come on out to practice this Saturday! Remember, we don't turn back
new folks, so even if you're just interested in trying out sailing
come on out. Meet to carpool in front of Baker College on the inner
loop at 9:30.
See you all then!
